Jason Wolfe- Violin and Guitar Lessons

Education: B.A. in Guitar from the University of St. Thomas.  Violin studies at Lawrence University.

Experience:  Jason started playing violin at age 6, using primarily the Suzuki method.  He studied with several teachers, eventually to attend Lawrence University for a year of study with Anton Miller.  Since then, he has enjoyed playing in folk/blues/jazz styles, along with his classical background.  In high school, he discovered guitar.  He started with jamming along with the radio, eventually progressing to studies at UST with Chris Kachian.  He has a wide appreciation for anything guitar, classical to rock.

Acoustic guitar training can be fun and easy, but it does take practice.  Some are naturally musically gifted and can pick up acoustic guitar training easily.  Others have to work at it.

Below are things to keep in mind if you are considering Acoustic Guitar Training for your child:

- Desire to learn: When a student is eager to learn and excited they are more apt to work hard and learn the basics.  When there is a sincere desire to learn, students will do what it takes to master acoustic guitar training.  Kids are quick learners.  If they really want to learn to play guitar they can pick it up fast.

Guitar Training Question 1: Songs – How can I pick a music book that my child will enjoy that is appropriate for their skill set?
